Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated individual for commercial property management financial and accounting analysis. The candidate will be experienced working with financial statements, budgets, monthly accruals, and other commercial property related tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparing annual budgets (Income, Expenses, Capital).
- Experience completing and understanding Building CAM reconciliations
- Establishing annual CAM charges and quarterly True-ups (for Taxes and CAM)
- Understanding Tenant Leases and Lease Administration
- Proficient in A/P and A/R processing
- MRI / Yardi Accounting Software
- Monthly Reporting including variance analysis.
- Quarterly budget reforecasting
- Monthly funding request to client based on expenses
- Ability to problem-solve and exercise independent judgement while displaying a high degree of initiative and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize projects and complete multiple tasks on schedule.
- Ability to work productively under minimal supervision in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong work ethic.
- Proactive team player able to work efficiently under sometime stressful conditions.
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels across the organization.
Qualifications
- Intermediate - proficient knowledge of MS Office, specifically MS-Excel and MS-Word.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or equivalent experience.
- Commercial Property Management experience is desired.
